Right, here they are. First with the Front Cover. I decided to have a Noir-type effect on these pages, because I've seen the Noir Effect being used before, and it looked brilliant. I thought if I put my College Magzine Front Cover in the same style, it would look good.

Not quite working for me. Some nice photography but the text sizing isn't quite right and it lacks some added filter effect that will achieve the noir effect that you're going for without leaving it plain-looking. It may help to research a visual style such as 'noir' beforehand and then to select your conventions accordingly.
